Zening Xu is an Associate professor at Asian Demographic Research Institute (ADRI). His research interest includes spatial demography and population geography, talents and regional development, urban and social governance, evalu ation of regional development. He completed his PhD at Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). From 2019 to 2022, he did postdoctoral research at China Institute for Urban Governance in Shanghai Jiaotong University.
