ADRI's students Li Xueting (Ph.D. program), Wu Yingji (Ph.D. program), Zeng Ming (Master program), Huang Chunlin (Master program) attended the 3rd International Conference on Population and Development of Asian Developing Countries on June 19-20. This conference was organized and supported by China Population and Development Research Center, Institute of Population Research of Peking University, University of Dhaka and so on. ADRI’s students all gave their oral presentations at the conference.
Wu Yingji presented his paper “Analysis of the Education Heterogeneity of China Internal Migration” in the session Floating Population and Demography. Huang Chunlin also presented his study “Rural-urban Migration, Living Arrangement, and Health of the Elderly in China” in this session.
Li Xueting joined the session Regional Population Development and introduced her study “Spatial Analysis of Social Vulnerability to Environmental Risks: A Study for China Prefectures in 2000 and 2010”. Zeng Ming shared his study result on the topic “Floating Population and Their Health” in the session Population and Health.
At the conference, scholars and experts provided great guidance and suggestion to students on further improving their studies. It’s appreciated by the students that they had such a good opportunity to participate in this conference for not only broadening their horizons but also giving them a platform to communicate and exchanges ideas with researchers at home and abroad.
